Family chat rules

Family chat, mottos and announcements are visible to family members only. To keep the game enjoyable for everyone, the following are not allowed:

Authorised moderators may access relevant content and report evidence for safety reviews. Before first posting a message, motto or announcement, accept the current rules in the app. A new version requires renewed acceptance. This page does not record acceptance. Writing restrictions cover messages, mottos and announcements; you can keep playing and reading within your family.

• Swearing, insults, humiliation and harassment
• Hate speech based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or origin
• Threats, calls to violence or encouraging self-harm
• Sexual content
• Sharing personal information such as phone numbers, addresses, IDs or bank details (including your own)
• Scams, trading in-game items or accounts, or offers to trade for real money
• Advertising, links and spam
• Impersonating another player or staff

The crime story in the game is fiction; planning or encouraging illegal acts in real life is not allowed.

You can flag inappropriate content with Report and hide a player with Block. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Content that breaks the rules may be removed and the player may be muted from chat for 24 hours, 7 days or permanently; they can keep playing the game. You can appeal decisions.
